Saka returns to training

Arsenal have received a massive boost ahead of the Premier League season’s return as Bukayo Saka returns from extended vacation after participating with England in the European Championship.

Arsenal posted pictures of the young English international training session on their social feed.

There was also a very touching video of Saka approaching a large collage of messages and gifts sent by Arsenal fans in support of the young 19-year-old winger after being abused by the penalty shoot-out in the Euro 2020 final.

Could he start against Brentford?

The question now will be whether Saka could be involved in the Premier League opening game for a week on Friday.

Mikel Arteta gave little idea after losing 2-1 to Chelsea in a friendly last season.

“He’ll be back very soon. He needed a vacation, he had to be gone. He’s had an incredibly busy year and will be back with us in the next few days. We look forward to him “, said the Spaniard.

Ben White was also involved with the English team and has since signed for Arsenal and played a friendly for the Gunners. The difference, however, is that Saka was much more involved and needed more rest.

However, considering how quickly White has integrated into training and preparation, it is not incomprehensible that Saka could be fit for the Brentford game.

However, Arteta has plenty of options with Nicolas Pepe, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Reiss Nelson, Willian and Emile Smith-Rowe being able to play in wider positions.
