Alex Periera returns, set to face Bruno Silva at UFC occasion on March 12

After causing a sensation on his Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) debut by scoring a nasty knockout (KO) win against Andreas Michailidis at UFC 268 (see here again), Alex Pereira will try to make it at the Octagon for the second time in a row.

According to MMA Fighting, the former kickboxing champion will return for his second fight under the UFC banner against Bruno Silva on March 12, 2022. A winner of four straight wins, Pereira has only contested five bouts in the MMA world since 2015, but his UFC debut was eagerly awaited by bout fans as the heavy-hitting middleweight kickboxed two wins against current division champion Israel Adesanya about knockout.

Silva, meanwhile, is on a winning streak of seven bouts, including winning his first three bouts under the UFC banner, all via technical knockout (TKO). In fact, his last seven victories came from a strike interruption. Still, you can bet this fight will be a total stand-up affair.

The event streamed by ESPN + is led by a light heavyweight match between Thiago Santos and Magomed Ankalaev. In further actions, Marlon Moraes will try to end this three-way battle if he fights against Song Yadong.
