Grace McEntee has her best season ever in the saddle and has already won 17 winners in 2021. Her 2020 total was 13 so she is incredibly fine. Often times it is grossly overpriced given that it stays well under the radar and we can take full advantage of it on Thursday at Brighton Racecourse. She has an incredible 50 percent return on the track this year, winning five times out of her 10 rides there. Let’s take a closer look at the runners with two solid chances.

Contingency fee is in the shape of his life and is now looking for a quintuple for coach Phil McEntee. Grace is going to be racing again and he fought very bravely last month to win Bath on solid ground from a mark of 67. Two of those four wins came here in Brighton and this horse is very versatile. He can walk on any ground that is well described, but the faster the better. He put another 3 pounds on his last win, still looks well treated and it would be no surprise at all if he could keep the run going.

Another horse in the shape of his life is Otagoaiming for a hat-trick of victories in the finals. McEntee will be riding for Jim Boyle on this occasion and this is the first time she has got on the horse. Both of his recent wins came at Epsom, a quirky track that shares some similarities with Brighton. He too loves a sound surface and has track experience that can count a lot.
